Justin Cifuni, DMD, MMSc
Dr. Justin Cifuni is a board certified periodontal surgeon in the specialty of periodontology and implant dentistry. He is a clinical instructor of the advanced specialty education program in periodontics at Boston University's Goldman School of Dental Medicine (BUGSDM). Before attending dental school he obtained a Master of Arts with a major in Medical Science from Boston University's School of Medicine. He was involved in research projects at the university and Dana Farber Cancer Institute. This background is important because Dr. Cifuni continues to work on multiple clinical research projects with numerous companies as well with Boston University in an effort to advance treatments in the field of periodontology. Currently, he is working on a number of projects pertaining to hard and soft tissue regeneration along with minimally invasive surgical therapies involving micro instruments and medical lasers.
