Oral Sedation

We typically recommend you take this pill about half an hour before your treatment. Before your procedure, your dentist will place a small mask over your nose to administer the gas. This mask allows our dentists to carefully and safely control the level of sedation. Since the effects of nitrous oxide wear off quickly once the mask is removed, many patients drive themselves home after their procedure.
